Transitions is for girls and gender non-conforming youth entering 9th grade. This course is a 14-day backpacking, climbing and rapelling/abseilling expedition in the Courtright Reservoir area of the Sierra National Forest and John Muir Wilderness, northwest of Kings Canyon National Park. All gear, food, and transportation is provided and no prior experience is necessary.

Transitions serves as great next step after the Project Courage course or is a great first step for a student wanting a longer course experience.  The course is named Transitions because it is meant to honor the transition between middle school and high school and serve as a rite of passage into the next stage of adolescence.
