To make a stock gift, please notify your broker that you wish to transfer securities and contact Keri at the Girlventures office.
For Donor Advised Fund gifts, donations from Retirement plan and IRA required minimum distributions, or legacy/planned giving interests, please contact keri@girlventures.org
Employee Giving Programs
Matching Gifts and volunteer matching
You can amplify your support for Girlventures with matching from your employer. Did you know that 65% of Fortune 500 companies offer matching gift programs? Some companies double, triple, or quadruple the donation! Many corporations match employee donations to our organization, and If you volunteer with us, your employer may also recognize your dedication by providing a grant. In-Kind Support
Wish lists: Each season, Girlventures outfits every participant with equipment and gear, and sometimes clothing as needed. If you’re looking for a way to use those REI member dividends, Sports Basement Basementeers, Columbia credits, Patagonia or other outdoor rewards programs, maybe there’s something on our wish list to donate and send! (Additional items coming soon)!
We do need to accept equipment in new or near-new condition for our programs for safety and equity for participants. If you’d like to make a donation but have questions, please contact our office!
Gift cards: That unused gift card can mean a great deal in providing for our participants’ needs on course. Whether it’s for gas to transport them to expeditions, food to sustain their journey, or even batteries for headlamps and communications, sharing a gift card in any denomination literally fuels our work!
Cards can be mailed to our office attn. Development, or ordered on our Girlventures Gift Card wish list. Donations of restaurant, movie, hotels, airline, experiences, and department store cards are also welcomed for our Annual Gala Silent Auction each September!
