Run, Walk, or Jog
Get active for GirlVentures. Sign up for a marathon, half marathon, trail race, walk, jog, or hike and fundraise for GirlVentures throughout your training. We’ve had a presence at the Presidio 10, New York City Marathon, San Francisco Marathon and Rock 'n' Roll races. Meet our fundraising minimum and GirlVentures will cover the cost of your bib.

Parties and DIY Events
Host a happy hour, swap birthday gifts for donations, create a networking event at your company, or make GirlVentures the beneficiary of your holiday party. However you prefer to host, our toolkit can help you turn your vision into reality.
Group Journal Making
Help us get ready for our summer courses by putting together the Course Journals that are used by the girls every day in the field. Groups of 10 or more are invited to host a journal making workshop with us!
These workshops usually run for roughly 2-3 hours and can be done at your office. We will provide an overview of our organization, the bulk of the materials for the workshop, and space for groups to be as creative and artistic as they endeavor to be.
In order to put on a journal workshop we ask for a donation of $500. Your team would become a sponsor for the summer course that the journal would be assigned to as well as you would receive a special shout out on our social media and and recognition on our GirlVentures supporters page for up to one year!
All fees generated from these workshops go to support the youth programming.

Bioluminescent Evening Kayak Tours
Book a group tour with us today! Tours available March - May and August - October 2020.
Bioluminescence is the production and emission of light by a living organism. On dark (moonless) nights on Tomales Bay, bluish white flickers are visible in the water column, which come from blooms of bioluminescent “dinoflagellates”. These tiny critters emit short flashes of light and at certain times of the year put on quite a show for kayakers. Schools of fish in the bay create a luminescent trail which can look like a glowing cloud in the water. All this glowing activity is only visible at night when the sun and moon are both down and there is no ambient light interference. Accordingly, we have set up evening paddles which should afford good viewing after we enjoy the beautiful sunset.
