Our Programs

Community Courses

GirlVentures’ offers custom-designed experiences for groups looking to enhance their community through outdoor adventure-based activities. Our Community Courses provide our clients the opportunity to co-create outdoor experiences that meet the needs and goals of their community. Our programs operate daily throughout the fall, winter and spring utilizing the vast and inspiring public lands, preserves and local parks of California. Adventures can even be as close as your backyard when GirlVentures brings our mobile activities to you!

Whether you have a specific adventure in mind, or general set of goals you hope to achieve, GirlVentures can help you make it happen with our range of skills and resources. Our community courses are open to mixed gender organizations, schools and community groups of all ages and sizes.

GirlVentures will handle all of the logistics and risk management protocols. We also provide group gear, technical equipment and experienced, professional outdoor educators. For fifteen years we’ve been operating high impact programs throughout the Bay Area.

GirlVentures works with land managers and permitting agencies to gain access to our public lands. Pinnacles National Monument – Multi-Day Retreat

Spend 2-4 nights camping among the trees and volcanic spires of this remarkable park. This adventure includes rock climbing and hiking throughout the park, spotting the endangered California Condors soaring among the rocks and counting shooting stars in the night’s sky. Pair this experience with GirlVentures community building curriculum for the ultimate retreat.

California’s High Sierra (Yosemite and Beyond)

This unforgettable weeklong experience will provide your community the escape from the ordinary and immersion into the extraordinary. The High Sierra is home to some of the most breathtaking vistas and inspiring challenges in California. There’s no shortage of walls to scale, peaks to summit and cliffs to dangle from while weaving GirlVentures tried and true leadership and trust curriculum into your alpine adventure.
