Course Start Fairy

Sports Basement on Bryant Street
Help welcome girls and their families on the first day of course. Pass out evaluations, monitor the “Wishing Well”, participate in the famous “Duffel Shuffle”, run last minute errands, and give girls a warm send-off before their adventure begins!

Course Graduation Fairy 

Sports Basement on Bryant Street
Help us welcome the girls back from course, set up and break down seating, wash and store gear, and organize course evaluations. These fairies will be invited to attend the graduation ceremonies, where you will witness a group of girls who have been transformed through two amazing weeks in the woods!

Packing Fairy

GirlVentures’ Office 
Help us get organized! Pack and label food/ gear. This work helps the girls stay energized and properly equipped while out on course.

Heart’s Desire Resupply Fairy

Meet at GirlVentures and drive to Tomales Bay
Drive up to Tomales Bay State Park with a load of food for wet and hungry girls. Help them transition from four days of kayaking to the base-camping/rock climbing portion of the course. Clean kayaks and gear, make lunch and clean up before heading back south. Personal vehicle required.

Wildcat Resupply Fairy

Meet at GirlVentures and drive to Point Reyes
Make a 12-mile round-trip hike over the course of a day to hike in food and art supplies to our Project Courage girls at their final campsite – Wildcat Camp in Point Reyes. Pass by beautiful Bass Lake and check out Alamere Falls along the way.

Requirements: Ability to hike this 12-mile round-trip, easy to moderate trail in one day. Ability to carry a full pack of food weighing about 45-50 lbs. Must bring your own lunch and preferably your own gear.
