Program & Logistics Coordinator
This seasonal position is great for anyone who is looking to gain experience and enjoy a summer working among other amazing, energetic and adventurous women!
Responsibilities Include:
- Helping pack gear for courses (tents, backpacks, stoves, sleeping bags, pots/pans, etc.)
- Assisting with food shopping, online orders, local errands & food labeling/packing
- Aiding in course starts, course ends & re-supplies
- Gear care, cleaning, maintenance, inventory & issuing
- General program support as necessary
- Our ideal candidate will have a flexible approach to work hours/schedule and be willing to work some long days in the office and the field as well as several weekend days
Experience/Requirements:
- Experience with and an interest in logistics and food packing for outdoor programs
- Minimum age: 21 with valid drivers license and clean driving record
- Knowledge and experience in using and maintaining backpacking gear, tents, stoves, etc.
- Familiarity with backcountry cuisine
- Strong organizational skills
- Experience and appreciation of working collaboratively with others
- Wilderness First Aid (or WFR) certified a plus
- Our ideal candidate will posses a wealth of common sense, be self-motivated, resourceful, and fun!
Benefits & Compensation:
- 30 – 40 hours/week: Mid-May – Mid-August (Required In-Field Staff Training: early June)
