We are approximately four blocks from the 16th/Mission Street BART station. When you exit the station head west on 16th Street for one block. Then turn left onto Valencia and walk two blocks. Turn right onto 18th and The Women’s Building will be on your left.
MUNI # 49, 22, 33, and 53 all pass through the 16th & Valencia intersection.
By Car
From the South Bay:
Take I-280 North toward Civic Center/Bay Bridge
Take exit 52 to merge onto San Jose Avenue
Continue onto Guerrero Street
Turn right onto 18th Street
The Women’s Building will be on the right

Take US-101 North toward San Francisco
Take exit 434A for US-101 North/Mission Street/Duboce Avenue toward the Golden Gate Bridge
Keep left at the fork, follow signs for Duboce Avenue and merge onto Duboce Avenue.
Turn left onto Guerrero Street
Turn left onto 18th Street
The Women’s Building will be on the right.
From the North Bay
Take US-101 South toward San Francisco
Turn right onto Van Ness Avenue
Turn right onto 18th Street
The Women’s Building will be on the left
From the East Bay
Take I-80 West toward San Francisco/Bay Bridge
Take US 101 South exit toward Golden Gate Bridge/San Jose
Merge onto US-101 North
Take exit 434A for US-101 North/Mission Street/Duboce Avenue toward the Golden Gate Bridge
Keep left at the fork, follow signs for Duboce Avenue and merge onto Duboce Avenue
Turn left onto Guerrero Street
Turn left onto 18th Street
The Women’s Building will be on the right
Parking
Parking can be difficult in this neighborhood, so please be sure to leave enough time to find a parking space. There is two-hour street parking on many of the blocks surrounding The Women’s Building, metered parking on Valencia Street, and a garage on 17th between Valencia and Mission (at Hoff). There is also a parking lot at 17th & Shotwell that charges $1.25 per day on the weekends.
